Case Study: St. Christopher’s School

St. Christopher's School is a British-style school in Kenya, providing education to pupils from various backgrounds. The school believes in providing a broad and balanced curriculum, which is grounded in Christian ethos and is pupil-centred, value-based, and driven forward by pupils making sense of the world they live in.

Objective:

The objective was to design and develop a website for St. Christopher’s School that would showcase their ethos, values, and curriculum to prospective pupils and parents.

Process:

  1. Understanding the school’s ethos: Our team spent time understanding the school’s culture, ethos, values, and vision for the future. We conducted meetings with the school management and teachers to get a better understanding of their approach to education.
  2. Defining the user journey: After understanding the school’s ethos, we defined the user journey for the website, keeping in mind the needs of the parents and pupils who would be browsing the website. We ensured that the website provided easy access to information about the school, its curriculum, and its values.
  3. Designing the website: We designed the website keeping in mind the school’s brand guidelines, and the need to showcase its unique character. The design was modern, easy to navigate, and visually appealing.
  4. Developing the website: We developed the website using the latest web technologies, ensuring that it was fast, secure, and responsive. We integrated a content management system (CMS) that would allow the school to update the website easily.
  5. Testing and Launching: We conducted extensive testing to ensure that the website worked smoothly across various devices and browsers. After testing, we launched the website.

Results:

The new website helped St. Christopher’s School to showcase its unique character, its broad and balanced curriculum, and its values to prospective pupils and parents. The website was well-received, and the school saw an increase in enrolments in the following academic year.

Conclusion:

Our web development company helped St. Christopher’s School to design and develop a website that reflected its ethos, values, and curriculum. The website helped the school to reach out to a wider audience and communicate its unique character and vision for the future.
